ABOUT VOICES FOR THE SILENCED
Voices for the Silenced is a nonprofit, faith-based organization that exists to help nourish the soil of ministries that serve those who have been silenced, becoming victims in our society. Each ministry is dedicated to serving a specific people group, including victims of domestic violence, victims of the sex industry and human trafficking, those navigating unplanned pregnancies, and those transitioning from jail or prison. Voices serves you regardless of age, race, religion, creed, immigration status, or sexual orientation.
OUR GOAL
AND PURPOSE
Every person we serve is a beloved son or daughter of God, created with a unique purpose and destiny to impact the world around them. In providing support, advocacy, education, and resources, our goal is to help those in need discover Whose they are (belonging) and who they are (identity). We believe everyone has a significant and essential voice and we exist to nurture that voice to freedom, health, and amplification. You have a voice!
A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR
Voices for the Silenced is an organization built to serve you to find your voice again, or perhaps for the first time. If you are in a relationship experiencing domestic abuse, or are being trafficked, or in the adult entertainment industry, or, if you have found yourself with an unplanned pregnancy, we are here to help you navigate your unique journey. We are here to answer questions you may have, and support you in making healthy choices for your life. Your life is valuable. You are significant and you do have choices. We are not a counseling agency, we provide practical supports to help you make your own decisions and find your voice again!
